Blockage of the diaphragmatic cupola during coughing : alternative or complement to techniques aimed at increasing expiratory output ?
Currently used clearing techniques for young babies are well systematised. Based on expiratory outflow, they take into consideration respiratory physiology but are also dependent on ventilatory mechanics, so important in very young babies.
The study of certain particular aspects of the ventilatory mechanism makes it possible to suggest a new concept for unblocking in infants : that of coughing/blocked cupolas.
